When everything is set on your pass - from Pass Settings to Languages - the mode of distribution can be specified for your pass.
A - Pass Link Type
Specify whether or not your pass is public or private. If you select public, you can post the QR code to the pass anywhere you like. If the Private option is chosen, you have to provide the pass QR code to every user who you wish to issue a mobile pass.
B - Disallow multiple installs
If this option is checked, the pass will be issued only once to a single device.
C - Void Passes
If you wish to void or invalidate all passes issued on an iOS device, you can check this option. Otherwise, leave it as is.
D - Auto expire passes after
Set an expiration data to your pass. Only works for iOS 7 devices and later.
E - Quantity restriction
Specify how many passes will be issued for this mobile pass.
F - Date restriction
You may set a date for a pass to be issued. After the specific date has passed, passes will no longer be issued even when someone scans the QR code of the mobile pass.
G - Need password to issue
If you wish your pass to be exclusive, add a password so that the pass will be added to the mobile wallet of the device. This is a great opportunity to gather leads for your business.
H - Need Password to Update
It is recommended to add a password to your mobile passes especially on store points passes/chop passes/discount passes types of mobile passes. Adding password allows the pass to be updated only by authorized personnel like cashiers or store staff.
I - Update Password
If you choose to put a password in the Need Password to Update option, input the password on this field.
J - Social Sharing
Check this option to give pass holders the opportunity to share the pass information on their social media accounts, thus allowing you to spread your mobile passes marketing campaign.
K - Pass URL
This is the direct link to your mobile pass. You may advertise this as well together with the QR code of the mobile pass.
L - Pass Update URL
This URL is the direct link to update the pass. This URL is embedded on the Pass QR code itself which was specified under the Front Content section.
M - QR code to Issue Pass
Right click and select Save Image As to save the QR code. Print the QR code for distribution purposes or post it on the web. Anyone who scans this will be redirected to the page where the mobile pass can be issued.
N - Push Changes to All Passes
Should you update your LocalPass template after passes has been issued, you may click on the Send Push link to push out the changes to all issued passes. DO NOT CHECK the Reset dynamic fields to default values to avoid a reset of store points or existing pass values.
