In order to have a custom URL for your mobile site, you must modify the DNS (Domain Name System) settings for your clients company website domain.
The specific DNS setting that will be added will be a CNAME record.
A CNAME, or Canonical Name, record is an entry within the Domain Name System (DNS) that specifies where a user can find your web pages, or any other URL.
You'll use this to associate your unique domain with the mobile site you created using our Mobile CMS.
1st you need to choose a sub domain, because adding a new CNAME record in essence create a sub domain to your website, and imports information to that sub domain from another source.
Below are popular mobile sub domain examples:
2nd, you'll create a corresponding CNAME record for that sub domain, associating it with m.brickandmobile.com or m.cloud-host.mobi.
Keep in mind those changes to DNS records may take up to 48 hours to propagate.
