Follow these instructions to set up a CNAME in Cpanel
- Log in to your cpanel of your website which is a custom URL provided to you (such as www.yourdomain.com/cpanel.
- Towards the bottom click on the icon that says “Advanced DNS Zone Editor.”
- Under the “Add a Record” section
Name: Type the sub domain you wish to have masked. (Generally this will be m.mydomain.com, then you should type in m as the name)
TTL: Type in 3600 (if this does not work then type in 14400)
Type: CNAME
Address: m.brickandmobile.com or m.cloud-host.mobi
- Hit submit and you are done.
Propagation may take up to 48 hours, but could be done in as little as one hour.

I think these directions are off.
in the 'advanced dns zone editor' an A record requires an IP address not m.cloud-host.mobi
or maybe the directions should read type = cname not A?
