I would like to see a white label host name url. If I have to share this information with a webmaster then there is always the possibility he/she will go to your web site and learn how simple it is to convert web sites. I understand that is great for you but not good for the marketer that is trying to make a business with your product. Maybe you can clone the software and make one just for Business builders.

Thanks you  have done a great job building this software. I know that your company will do well.

Agree with Robert. Will definitely be noticed by webmasters whereas a white label would not. Great software.

I have a desktop website for my company, but I cannot remember where I registered my domain, so I cannot do the CNAME record. So i just went and brought a .mobi   website, how do we use that for our mobile site?

In order to keep brickandmobile codes out of the hands of webmasters and steel the redirect codes. I would go ahead and buy the .mobi domain if it wasn't taken and set your mobile website up on it and keep it in your control instead of perhaps loosing the client/account by giving the codes away.

What we really need is a whitelabel domain that will host various different businesses websites.

For example I would love to be able to use my doman appleseedwebapp.com to host the mobile sites for ALL my clients.

    For example:

    appleseedwebapp.com/business1

    appleseedwebapp.com/business2

    appleseedwebapp.com/business3

Wheres the good in asking a client to buy a new domain, then asking them to forward all these instructions to there current IT guy? Sounds like a lot to a small business owner, and discounts the value of my services if I cannot simply make it happen for them.

    Anyone else agree with this?

    Great news for all resellers!

For those looking to hide m.brickandmobile.com for CNAME records for your clients, you can use the following white-labeled domain instead:

    m.cloud-host.mobi

Simply use it in place of m.brickandmobile.com for the CNAME installation.

Tony. Curious to know where you found information indicating that "Google Places" searches are done on primarily mobile? I have 5 GPP site that get a lot of traffic from desktops and laptops according to Google analytics.

"Searches at Google Places generally are mobile searches anyway so why have them go to the .com then only to be redirected. Why not the other way around."

We followed instructions under 'STEP 3: " and used m.cloud-host.mobi but it did not work on GoDaddy.

    Thanks,

I'm a little confused. I have a demo site i'm going to be showing a potential client. Can I set up a domain name for that demo under one of my own websites? Or would I just let them know that this is something I can do for them after I got the deal?

    Hi DeAnte,

When you are showing the site to a potential client you can create a cname with your domain.

    For example: demo.yourdomain.com or demo1.yourdomain.com

You can watch this video to learn how to set up a custom URL and redirect script:

    Hope this helps!

The video and your instructions are not quite right after talking to GoDaddy support.  You can only have one WWW CNAME per domain and a WWW CNAME is generated when you register your domain.  Now you need to find the WWW record in the list and click the edit pencil and delete the @ symbol in the 2nd field and type "m.brickandmobile.com.  Mine is not quite working yet but I think it has to do with the propagating timing.  I would like you to add this to the training video.  First site... my online business card "m.brickandmobile.com/jeff-heath-me"  custom site "http://jeffheath.me"  I am really glad I joined your site...
